Spa Salon Marketing Ideas Using A Website That Sells

By Chris Jay

Building a website to find new customers is a good idea, but Day Spa and hair Salon marketing ideas that have a strategy for incorporating effective customer support through a website must also be considered. Lack of Customer Support can really hurt your Spa or Salon, especially when a consumer is considering using your services, but hasn't decided yet.

Do you have someone on staff to promptly respond to those inquiries? Or are they ignored until you get around to it? You should make every effort to respond to email from your website within 2-hours or less. Look, when someone is ready to get their hair styled of a massage, they are ready to make a decision fast. If you don't answer their needs quickly, they will go to the next Salon or Spa website that does. Many Sap or Salon owners don't take their website email very seriously. They pretty much ignore online questions, which negatively impacts their reputation with those potential customers who are being ignored.

Most Spa and Salon marketing ideas never focus on the importance of before and after images on the business website. Marketing ideas for Salons and Day Spas that show potential customers the end results are more likely to result in that consumer making an appointment at that Spa or Salon. It makes sense if you think about it because the consumer is looking for a certain end result when they go to a Salon or Spa. If you show them fantastic end results on your website, they will feel compiled to be your next customer.

Remember when the Yellow Pages was a huge book? Not anymore, it's about half the size it was a few short years ago. If you are spending a lot of your funds marketing your Salon or Spa using Yellow Page ads, you should take a hard look at whether or not it is really working for you. It is difficult to track how much business comes from Yellow Page ads (which is another downfall). However, just think about this...how many people do you know who still go to the Yellow Pages to find a Salon or Day Spa?

The Importance of Using Before and After Images On Your Website: When your customers and potential customers view your website, they expect to see some images that prove what you can do for them, by showing what results you have achieved for others. Instead of only using marketing ideas related to finding new customers, Spa and Salon marketing ideas must also focus on showing potential customers end results through images.
