It is very exciting for me when I write about a broker that I am delighted to trade with, unfortunately I have had a number of dreadful experiences in the previously until I found IC Markets True ECN account. I did not know what to expect when I initially opened my trading account with IC Markets however I promptly found that I was trading with a very professional company. Naturally execution speeds are a significant requirement if you are scalping . I am especially happy that IC Markets has its server in the NY4 Equinix data facility in New York which means that latency is very low. NY4 is where the majority of investment banks also host their servers its for this reason that dealing with a forex broker who has its server in NY4 is a huge benefit.
I had never experienced market depth on Metatrader 4 before I commenced fx trading with IC Markets, they are the only company that I have discovered that has market depth on their trading platform. Market Depth makes a massive difference to my forex trading because it helps me to determine what's on the bid or offer at any known time thus eliminating any slippage problems that may occur with forex brokers who have low spreads.
At times I also like to trade micro lots, I don't know of any other broker in the world that permits you to trade any lot size on the same account. I funded my trading account using Moneybookers, my account is based in EUR, the money reached my account in 24 hours. I have also made a number of margin call repayments by debit card with no problems whatsoever, the money was in my trading account within two hours.
So all in all I am a really happy client of IC Markets and really I am really happy that I went with them out of all the other Australian regulated fx brokers that I might have chosen. I am unsure that there's a better forex broker in Australia at the moment.
