Tips In Doing Credit Card Processing Service Transactions

By Tommie Newman

If your store supports credit card processing service, you have to always ensure that you are able to make sure about dealing with the right people alone. After all, you want to avoid getting involved with fraudulent transactions.

In cases where you have to perform international transactions, always make sure that you approve these transactions with caution. In addition, try to be wary if the order is coming from somebody who seems to be intent in ordering in bulk or items which are high priced.

Always insist about getting the CW or the security code of the method of payment that the customer is using. Often, this is located at the the back part of the payment method used. Many CC companies will not authorize any transactions unless the four digit code is given to them.

Do not easily process credit card processing service transactions coming from people who are ordering items in bulk or those items that cost a huge amount of money. Be even more wary of those people who are trying to order these items and are asking for them to get delivered overnight.

Take the time to investigate more on the identify of the people you are dealing with, even if this would mean that the order will have to be delivered a little later. Aside from identifying the correct name of the one processing the order, you have to ensure that you will verify their address too.

Be sure to take your time in gathering identifications from the person who is ordering the items. Ask them to send in a fax of their license or the CC that they are using when ordering the items so you can identify that these reflect their ownership.

Be sure to always be firm with your policy concerning the credit card processing service transactions that you perform along with your buyers. Be sure to train your employees properly so they will not end up preys for the numerous fraudulent individuals around.
