It is difficult to raise a child especially when you are alone. With increasing cases of divorce and broken marriages, most of the time the children suffer and the parent who is left to raise them. If you are a single mother, you certainly need all the help you can get especially when your ex-partner is not paying child support.

You do not have to worry too much because you can actually get financial help for single mothers from the government and other private sectors. How to qualify for a financial aid? You need to submit necessary requirements, mostly involving paper works.

When you are a single mother, a one-time help is not what you need. There are many other things that you want help with. Aside from the food, you have to think about housing, utilities expense and medication.

And the state is not your sole source of help. You have family and friends who will be there to support you in times of need. Despite the situation you're in, you are still lucky to have them.
