Apart from being a very lively and vibrant place to work, Manhattan accommodates millions of visitors every year. Long before you start planning the physical move, you will have to find suitable premises for your business. The one thing you will not find many of in New York is buildings small enough to accommodate just your business. It is a city of sky scrapers, so you will likely have to share your building with many other businesses.

The narrow streets are designed to accommodate large delivery trucks, they will have difficulty maneuvering and are likely to block traffic in the current one way system. Manhattan area has an excellent public transport network, which means your clients and employees can use the network as an alternative to driving. It does usually work out cheaper than paying for parking, but the various transport option are likely to suffer delays, especially during peak times. There is always the option to look into corporate parking facilities, which will cost, but may work out cheaper in the long run, than individual parking costs.

You need to vet your removal company to ensure they are reliable. Check their terms and conditions of service carefully, and make sure they have adequate insurance in case of breakages or accidents. Companies that provide office moving NYC area must be licensed by the Commissioner of Transportation, and you should verify that they are licensed.
