By Alejandro Holt

Elkins Park, PA- David Mallach a Elkins Park, PA based Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor, was one of 12 employees recently honored with the 2011 David Brady award at a ceremony in New York, for his outstanding philanthropy, client focus and overall commitment to his company and community, the company said today.

The award is named for David Brady, a New York-based Financial Advisor who died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2011. He was highly respected for putting the client first and giving back to his community. The award that bears his name was created in 2007 and seeks to honor individuals within Bank of America's Global Wealth & Investment Management division, which includes Merrill Lynch and U.S. Trust.

Award recipients were joined by Brady's family members, senior leaders and past award recipients to hear the inspired stories of this year's winners-all were nominated by their colleagues and selected from a pool of 172 nominees.

"David Brady lived the ideal of tirelessly helping clients, his colleagues and community every day of his life. That's why it is a great honor for me to congratulate those who have the strong dedication to excellence, client service and community that David exemplified, and is embodied in the David Brady Award," said Scott Blanch, Merrill Lynch, Resident Director.

In 1973, Mallach joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor and has dedicated his career towards helping investors develop strategies for income growth and capital appreciation. He has lectured to investors in the USA, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. David is married with 3 sons and 2 daughters and currently resides in the Philadelphia area.
